Grants.gov allows electronic access to more than 1,000 grant programs offered by all Federal grant-making agencies. Grants.gov replaces paper applications with electronic forms and requires electronic submission of all applications. It is the central portal for federal grant announcements and submissions.

NSF combined their two policy documents: the NSF Grant Proposal Guide (GPG) and the Grant Policy Manual (GPM) into a single electronic policy framework. They will be effective for proposals submitted on or after June 1, 2007. This document supercedes all prior versions of the GPG and GPM.
