SMARTS|GENIUS is an online service created by InfoEd International, Inc., with University support provided by the Office of the Vice President for Research and the Health Sciences Center. The service allows faculty within the University community to record a research profile (i.e. CV-related information and areas of expertise/ interest) in GENIUS, the Global Expertise Network for Industry, Universities and Scholars. Users are also provided the opportunity to receive funding information automatically via email through SMARTS, the SPIN Matching And Researcher Transmittal System. SPIN, the world's leading source of funding information, will send researchers specific funding information based on keywords entered on their research profile.
