Attorney Staffing for Research & Technology Law Group
With Jo Ann Stringfield leaving the Office of the University Counsel, (OUC) effective October 26, 2007, other members of OUC have been assigned to ensure uninterrupted services to their clients. Assignments are as follows:
- Ana Andzic-Tomlinson, Associate University Counsel is supporting Main Campus Research, Patent Administration, export control, and compliance issues regarding COI, with the assistance of Scot Sauder, Senior Associate University Counsel.
- Main Campus IRB, campus-wide Institutional Biosafety, and main campus IACUC compliance will go to Melanie Baise, Associate University Counsel.
- Vicki Hunt, Associate University Counsel, and Melanie Baise will jointly support the IACUC at the HSC.
- Compliance work related to the HSC’s HRRC will be supported by Vicki Hunt.
- Scot Saunder and Vicki Hunt have already begun supporting HSC Research with the assistance of Nancy Greene, HSC Contracts Advisor.
OUC will conduct a national search for a lead attorney for the Research and Technology Law Group (R&T). In the interim, Scot Sauder will serve as the lead attorney for both the Health Law Group and the Research & Technology Law Group.
