Purpose and Activities: The Beim Foundation is an organization that provides support for projects operating in the areas of the arts, education, environment, and human services. This is provided through help with building/renovation, capital campaigns, equipment, land acquisition, program development, program evaluation, and seed money.

Eligibility Requirements: Giving primarily in MN but with some giving also in Denver, CO, Park and Gallatin counties, MT, Santa Fe County, NM and Cumberland County, ME. No support is given to private foundations, or to religious organizations. No grants for individuals, deficit financing memberships, endowments, subscriptions, tickets, conferences, fundraisers, or annual campaigns. Also no loans are given out.

Application Data: Application forms are required and emailed proposals will not be accepted. Application should include the following: name, address, and phone number of the organization; copy of IRS Determination Letter; copy of most recent annual report/audited financial statement/990; listing of board of directors, trustees, officers, and other key people and their affiliations; detailed description of project and amount of funding requested; contact person within the organization; copy of current year’s organizational budget and/or project budget; and a brief history of organization and description of its mission.  Contact the foundation at the address listed above for further details.

Deadline: February 3^rd for educational and human services programs. July 3^rd for arts, small capital equipment, and environment programs.
