Purpose and Activities: The foundation makes scholarships available to active members of Central New Mexico Electric Cooperative, Inc. and their immediate families. Scholarships are granted to attend recognized New Mexico institutions of higher education.

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must be active members or the immediate family of active members of Central New Mexico Electric Cooperative, Inc. Grantees must use these funds in seeking an established degree from an accredited in-state college, university, or vocational school. To be considered for renewal or continued support recipients must maintain a grade-point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, be registered as a full-time students, and submit statements verifying these conditions to the foundation when required.

Application Data: Application forms are available upon request. An official transcript from the school the student most recently attended and three letters of recommendation are required.

Deadline: May 1.
