Experienced Office of Research Compliance Staff (ORC) staff are available to provide consultation to investigators regarding social, behavioral and educational human subject research. We offer advice on the development and writing of protocols, identification of issues likely to result in modifications or disapproval, and the feasibility of a research idea from a Institutional Review Board (IRB) perspective. In addition, we are on hand to provide guidance on the ethical and regulatory guidelines governing the use of human subjects in research. It is important to note that an opinion from ORC staff does not represent an official action by the Board, nor is it meant to represent any actions the Board may take upon its review of your research.
